Swedish Folk Art Light Fixture

About the Item

The Swedish shipbuilders' longtime tradition of hanging scale-sized models of finished ships in churches for protection of ship and crew has inspired such folk art sculptures. We have here a lovely example of the good ship "Faith, Hope and Love" hand-made as a hanging light fixture. Composed of a hand painted bow resting on wrought iron waves beneath, chain link, canopy with the traditional symbol of faith, hope and charity (love) centered.
