A fine example of an industrial style Loomlight tripod floor lamp, comprised of a brass and stainless steel searchlight with timber and bronze tall tripod. The lamp is a very substantial fixture with all wiring replaced with our in house wiring system and rocker switch for lamp control. This is mounted on the bronze cable entry enclosure on the funnel of the lamp. These searchlights have been reclaimed from super tankers and military vessels built during the 1970s so the build quality is second to none. The main dome is made from machined stainless steel, the funnel of the lamp is cast brass and it has a tempered glass front to form an enclosure for the bulb. Shonan Kosakusho Co. Brass 30cm searchlight mounted on an Ex MOD mortar tripod. The searchlight is reclaimed from Super tankers built during the 1970s and originally operated a 1000 W searchlight bulb, here at Loomlight we have fabricated and fitted a seven lamp circular bar with ES27 Fittings and Edison tubular bulbs. The reflector was also fabricated here at Loomlight and comprises of a brass dish with a copper dome insert. We have stripped and polished all the internal parts of the lamp which were originally painted black. The tripod is anodised black aluminium and is adjustable in height so the lamp can stand from 120cm to 150cm tall, this is Ex.MOD and originally used in the field.
