Minimalist, elegant, amorphically shaped floating glass mirrors inspired by the topography of the Philippine archipelago. The ISLA Mirrors are available individually or as a compositional set.
Artist Cheyenne Concepcion dreamed up these decorative mirrors after tracing old maps of the Philippine islands. Imagined as a functional sculptures, the ISLA mirrors flexible design offer clients dozens of unique compositions to occupy wall space of any size. Earthy yet refined, the grey glass mirrors are also suitable for many design styles and spatial arrangements.
The decorative mirrors are made in Brooklyn, New York in small editions. Ask if we have any in-stock, otherwise the lead time is 2-3 weeks. With the purchase of an ISLA mirror, our studio provides printed templates with custom hardware for easy wall-mounted installation.

New York based artist creating refined hand-woven wall hangings, decorative objects, woven sculptures & functional furniture I am a New York based artist and designer creating craft-inspired functional objects, sculptures, wall hangings and large-scale public installations. The most prominent thread in my recent work is bringing visibility to Filipino-American craft and culture through mixed media sculpture. In this process, I experiment with unexpected interactions between material, form and narrative to weave together past with present. My work has been featured in Vogue, Hyperallergic, ArchPaper, Domino Mag, Sight Unseen, NY Mag's Curbed and KQED. I am currently in residence at Socrates Sculpture
