Outstanding Floral Bessarabian Kilim with Light Green Border, 19th Century
Located in San Francisco, CA
Outstanding Floral Bessarabian Kilim with Light Green Border, Mid-19th Century
Pile carpets and flat-weaves known in the market as 'Bessarabian' were woven mostly in the 19th century in what are now the countries of Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine—along the northwestern coastal areas of the Black Sea (in eastern Europe). Both pile and Kilim types use floral subject matter and a distinct coloration, with a dominant dark ground and accents in rose reds. This older Bessarabian flat-weave uses a red derived from imported cochineal and adds a pleasing complimentary contrasting light green border, a feature lost in later examples. Planted flower pots...

Stainless Steel Iron Puffy Chair by Anadora Lupo
By Anadora Lupo
Located in Timisoara, RO
Build process
Technique: cast iron, welded stainless steel. 100% hand crafted from zero by the artist. Build process takes between 3-4 weeks; please allow extra time for custom orders (materials and dimensions can be customized upon request). No two pieces will be the same, because each piece is 100% unique. Due to the nature of the material, the coloring may vary slightly from the photos.
The metal is sensually forged to unique shapes through a manually intensive process, furniture that goes far beyond its functional use. Each piece that comes out of Anadora’s hands is unique, and contributes with a delicate touch of the sublime in a domestic space.
The work itself is open to interpretation but her unique style and daring forms, certainly set the artist to be seen as existing somewhere between traditional disciplines and modern interpretations of sculpture, design and architecture.

The invisible words written under the surface of the throne, evoke the continuous struggle for power; the intrinsic need to overcome and replace what is – with what will be. That native state of the universe, which starts from the subatomic level to the macrocosm.

Sculptural Design Stool by Eduard Locota
By Eduard Locota
Located in Timisoara, RO
The sculptural group “Abstract Isometry” has been gravitating around the theme of fragmentation, slicing of the earth and plasticity. In the contemporary context, channeled almost exclusively on our natural resources, once abundant natural resources such as fossil fuel, water and even clean oxygen, become rare commodities.
In the current context focused on excessive and unsustainable consumerism, the 21st century welcomes us with a Darwinian transformation for both men and nature. Evolution which leads to the development of a synthetic man living in a synthetic nature. Heavy topics as regeneration and sustainable environment are thrown into the arms of the future generations, that have not been born yet.
Thus, the artist’s creations highlight the synthesis through alternative materials used, such as: synthetic marble (resin and marble dust), synthetic resin (Plexiglass), synthetic cement (Jesmonite), charcoal, wood, and so on. His works have a powerful conceptual plasticity but also physical plasticity, a concept that can be interpreted as modern works of the 21st century.
Unique
Because the artwork is entirely handcrafted and made to order; build process takes approximately 3-4 weeks for each artwork.
Every artwork is hand-sculpted, molded and finished by hand by the artist himself. Because of this special build process, there will be small differences between every edition, thus unique, unique in the world. In addition to the artists signature on the piece of art, you will receive a “Certificate of Authenticity” signed and dated by Eduard Locota himself.
Sculptural design piece, that will last for hundreds if not thousands of years.
Memorable
We here present you a contrasting composition with a memorable design. This extremely clean and Minimalist artwork produce the strong recognizable style of Eduard Locota that will lights up the space it will be placed in, as well as lift the eyebrows of the audience.
Ultra limited edition of 19 pieces + 2AP.
