Antique Nepali Copper Alloy Indra Figure, Solid Cast, Traces of Gilding
This exceptionally refined, solid-cast copper alloy figure depicts Indra, the Vedic and Buddhist king of the gods, rendered with remarkable grace, balance, and sculptural confidence. Almost certainly produced in Nepal, this sculpture reflects the highest traditions of Himalayan metalwork, where form, iconography, and surface finish are held to exacting standards.
