Willy Guhl for Eternit Large Rectangle Window / Balcony Concrete Planter, Signed
By Willy Guhl, Eternit
Located in Los Angeles, CA
This designer on-trend architectural 23.5" long rectangular concrete planter is by Swiss architect Willy Guhl for Eternit, crafted in the 1960s and 1970s Switzerland and signed and dated underneath, circa 1968. This special low-profile and rare long sized rectangle-shaped concrete planter has a patinated natural exterior finish and organic aging over decades of UK climate. Excellent planter size for a variety of various uses such as succulents, plants, weeping grass with the planter on a stand, window or balcony privacy hedge, or any other outdoor decorative use.
Consider using this Willy Guhl Concrete Planter Pot in a Architectural, Postmodern, Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern or Danish modern garden, yard or penthouse apartment balcony but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism setting. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Classical or Art Deco space with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as an outdoor hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office balcony.
MEASUREMENTS:
H 6.875" x W 23.5" x D 6.875"
CONDITION:
Sturdy and structurally sound. Has beautiful antiquing and patina throughout from decades of organic aging which can include minor chipping, stains or other blemishes however this lightly distressed look is common, expected and desirable for these early production originals. Some examples may display light...

De Sede DS-262/11 Armchair in Black Upholstery & Swivel Base by Stefan Heiliger
By Stefan Heiliger, De Sede
Located in Brooklyn, NY
Unimagined flexibility, thanks to two armchair parts. The architecture of the armchair is based on two parts, each able to swivel about its own axis. Depending on how the two chair parts are rotated relative to one another, the lower part can be used as an armrest, a footrest or practical shelf. Elegant buttoning and Fine piping on all sides – quite in keeping with incomparable De Sede quality underscore the impressive look.
It’s been going on like this forever: ever since our solar system emerged billions of years ago from the so called primordial cloud, the planets – earth included – have been rotating. And thank goodness: if Mother Earth were absolutely immobile, it would be boiling hot on the side facing the sun and icy cold on the other side. As it is, however, we comfortably enjoy our life – sometimes spinning the way DS-262 does as it rises up like a lofty sculpture in the room – but that nevertheless encourages active relaxation, because the range of different sitting postures can be sampled to one’s heart’s content.
Additional information:
Material: Leather
Category: Select - Black
Type: Nappa leather, lighty pigmented
Thickness: 1.2 to 1.4 mm
Characteristics: Elegant in appearance, particularly durable, less sensitive to humidity, spots and light exposure thanks to an easy-care finish. Living unites practical considerations with a high aesthetic.
Dimensions: 110 W x 128 D x 103 H cm
Seat height: 43 cm
Armrest height: 49 cm
Available in other upholstery options: Living, touch, natural, coloral, craft
Available in other structural version: Armchair without armrest.

Jaeger Lecoultre, Atmos Clock from 1967 with Original Box
Located in Greven, DE
Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos clock
Switzerland
Brass gold plated
Year of manufacture 1967
Dimensions: H x W x D: 22 x 17 x 11 cm
Description:
Atmos VII in gold-plated brass case with black lacquered sides and matt gold brushed dial.
Instead of numbers, we see two double lines for 3, 6, 9 and 12 and single lines for the remaining hours. There is a raised logo below the 12, and the words "JAEGER LECOULTRE" and "ATMOS" above and below the hands. A stamped "Swiss Made" logo is located above the dragonfly.
Serial number: 252201, year of manufacture 1967.
This clock is based on the calibre 528/1 movement and was listed by Jaeger LeCoultre under ref. number 5900. The model was only built from 1967-1970 and is rare to find in the trade today due to its small number of pieces.
The original transport box, the so-called "tabernacle", makes this clock doubly interesting.
Instead of the usually used levelling screws, which are operated from inside the case, the Atmos VII has a wheel each on the left and right outside of the base for levelling.
Condition:
The movement runs absolutely reliable and accurate. The condition of the case is also very nice. The gilding is well preserved. There are minimal traces of cleaning on the dial, barely visible to the naked eye. There are also some rusted screws on the underside of the clock, which is not visible in use.
The photos are not "embellished", the case condition is as shown in the photos.
Points to know:
Although Leonardo da Vinci was already able to prove that the production of a perpetual motion machine is physically impossible, it has been tried again...
