About the Item
A beautiful 19th century Louis XV Bergere upholstered in cotton velvet check and woven grasscloth. The painted surfaces have quite a few layers of chippy paint, which looks wonderful. The nailhead detail is nice. The fabric is in excellent condition. These were redone in the 1990’s. Some minor blemishes in addition to the chipped paint. There are 4 of these chairs available as a suite if desired.
A copy of the original receipt from the interior designer is attached. This was originally in buff leather and then redone in Donghia fabric in the 1990’s
