Origin Chair
About the Item
The Origin Chair was designed by Betony Vernon in 2014. It debuted in December 2012 at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan in the context of a carte blanche as part of the exhibition KAMA SEX & DESIGN. The functional sculpture has also been exhibited in Lausanne at MUDAC (Museum of Design and Contemporary Art) as well as in the Gewerbemuseum in Winterthur, Switzerland. The Origin Chair is sculpted in statuary white marble from the quarry of Henraux in Versilia, Italy and the foot rest is made in stainless steel. This piece is number 2 in a limited edition of 6.
