By Milo Baughman, Thayer Coggin
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Extremely comfortable and increasingly rare, this large two piece sectional by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin, 1960s, features a curved semi-circle design on Rosewood plinth base. This example has been reupholstered in recent years in a teal colored textured velvet fabric. Signed underneath with Thayer Coggin label.
This rare sofa is extremely comfortable. The cushions are plush down filled and deep. The fabric is soft and cozy. So much space to stretch out and relax. Interior designers - this sofa is what you need for your client and this example is a fantastic authentic option that you can use with its existing fabric or reupholster to a new one. The current upholstery is in very good condition and has only received a few light years of use to it. We can steam clean prior to shipping for a fresh clean start in its new home.
Fantastic option to use in a conversation pit along with a round coffee table and pair of lounge chairs. Consider using a Philip and Kelvin LaVerne round coffee table...
