Modern American Sectional Corner Sofa in Structured Yellow Upholstery
About the Item
Modular sectional sofa, structured yellow upholstery, metal, United States, 1960s
This two-part sofa is upholstered in soft yellow structured fabric that emphasizes the strong lines of the piece. The two different parts can be placed together to form a corner sofa or placed apart as two separate elements. The backrest shows a triangular shape when looking from the side. A minimalist base in steel lifts up the sofa in a minimalist way. The way the seat and base are designed reminds of Georg Nelson’s designs for Herman Miller.

Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
