Designer Peacock Chair Made for Neiman Marcus Photoshoot
Located in Dallas, TX
Presenting a glorious and unique contemporary piece, namely, a designer peacock chair/love seat/settee made for Neiman Marcus Photoshoot.
Made in the 1990s, this chair/settee was made on commission for Neiman Marcus for the purpose of a photoshoot for their own magazine.
When the photoshoot was over they gave the settee to the model that was featured in the shoot.
We are of the opinion that this was designed and made by the renowned designer, Janice Minor, who still makes items for Neiman Marcus up to this day ! She is noted for her use of metal and art glass …. 2 important ingredients in this settee.
The settee is in the style and shape of a love seat, with 2 opposing ends reclining and with full backs, so that the lovers can look directly at each other !
The settee is made of metal, possibly aluminum and has 2 Peacock’s as the back design, each with the most gorgeous plume feathers with naby blue, aqua and teal art glass...
