Kompson Side Chair in Walnut

The Kompson line is a tribute to the grace of mid-century modern aesthetics, elegantly merging style and ergonomics. Clean lines seamlessly blend into contemporary spaces while the comfortable embrace of the sculpted seat and back invite you to linger, savor, and appreciate. Meticulously crafted in North American hardwoods with mortise and tenon joinery.
The Kompson side chair is offered in three finish options: Natural Ash, Blackened Ash, and Walnut. Our standard finishes are water based, two component urethanes that have high scratch and chemical resistance. The Kompson Side Chair comes with nylon floor glides installed.
Kompson Side Chairs are made to order and have an approximate lead time of 12 weeks. Please feel free to inquire for current lead times.

This is an extremely handsome George II Burl Walnut side chair. The chair, inspired by Giles Grendey, features a finely carved shell to the crest rail, beautiful burl walnut veneer, carved knees and claw and ball feet. The compass seat has retained its 18th century needlework cushion and original seat frame. The chair is in overall very good condition. Although it has been refinished at some point the current surface is old with a fine luster.
