About the Item
Opulent mid-century modern case sofa or tuxedo style sofa settee crafted in the English regency taste. The sofa features a dark hardwood frame covered with a dramatic waxed cordovan or oxblood leather upholstery. The arms of the sofa are slightly flared on each end with removable loose seat cushions for a plush, comfortable experience. The arms and trim are embellished with patinated brass tack accents to complete the lavish design. The sofa is supported by short, tapered, square legs. The sofa is heavy and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The leather is soft and supple, but firm enough to keep its shape. Very good, well preserved condition as seen in photos. The design is refined and sophisticated in an English gentlemen's club style with a distinctive profile.
