Italian Two-Seat Sofa with Curved Armrests
About the Item
Sofa, fabric and wood, Italy, 1960s
Highly theatrical sofa that features curved, upsweeping armrests. This piece is made in Italy in the 1960s. The slightly tapered backrest is sculptural and theatrical. The titled, conical legs are made of black lacquered wood and form a great addition to the sculptural seat. The sofa is upholstered is a classic floral satin-inspired fabric, which shows signs of age and use.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item might contain some threadbare upholstery with loose seams and small stains. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
