Early 19th Century Cock Fighting Stool
About the Item
19th century mahogany and elm cock fighting stool from England. The seat is handsomely shaped from elm for comfort and aesthetic appeal. The seat is supported on three mahogany legs, which are splayed and turned in the back and in the front, the leg is hand carved in the shape of a leg, with a knee like carving over a leg which terminates in a ball and claw foot. The legs are joined by shaped stretchers.
