About the Item
The collection, titled Laws of Motion, is the first sample of collectible design created by Joel Escalona for BREUER. Through a series of different typologies such as mirrors, tables and seats, the collection articulates the great rigor in the company's productive execution and the level of introspection achieved by the designer. Initially, this collection aims to explore concepts as concrete as gravity, force or movement, and how these can be expressed in design pieces, which, in a confident journey - where the adventure turned out to be anything but what was expected - take us to the unexpected situation of seeing the author vulnerable to a series of questions, which help us consider new meanings for each of these concepts.
