About the Item

A well-constructed Regency stool box with reeded edge top over four faux drawers with turned brass knobs standing on molded edge plinth and bracket feet. The top openable for storage. Originally a close stool. Two brass handles on the sides for easy portability. An attractive and useful piece for drinks next to a club chair or sofa, and strong enough to use as seating.
