18th c. English Oak Close Stool

About the Item

Very good early 18th Century English oak lidded box in the form of a chest of drawers, the hinged top over a configuration of false drawers having half round molded dividers with original ring pulls and pierced escutcheons, standing on original bracket feet, the whole with good rich color and patination,
