About the Item

Maison Lecan presents this charming set of three folk art tripod stools in solid wood, representative of rustic mountain furniture and the 1960s-1970s brutalist aesthetic. Each seat, carved directly from the log, features a unique geometric shape (semi-circular, round, and ovoid), showcasing the natural growth rings of the wood alongside a preserved natural bark rim. The raw, splayed peg legs are sturdily jointed, providing excellent stability and a sculptural presence to the set. The wood displays a warm, amber tone with an attractive waxed/varnished patina. Perfect as extra seating, side tables, nightstands, or display pedestals for ceramics. Very good overall condition, solid and stable.
