2-door French tradtional sideboard in solid oak
About the Item
This traiditonal sideboard is typical of French classical furniture pieces and belongs to our TRADITION collection which takes up the timeless classics of the charm of the French countryside, also called "campagne chic"
The saber legs, the pilasters and the grooves are characteristic of this collection. The woodwork remains traditional with tenons and mortises and a dovetail assembly for the drawers fronts for the cabinets.
This buffet is made of French solid cherry wood from sustainably managed forests. It is shipped worldwide and delivered entirely assembled.
Behind the 2 doors, one vertical wooden divider organizes the inside in 2 units. Each unit has its own wooden height-adjustable shelf on wooden racks.
The sideboard has three drawers. The left and right large drawers open with a brass curved handle and the smaller central drawer with an english knob.
The drawers' fronts are mounted with dovetails for a better strength and durability.
The finish is a "cannelle" oak cherry stain for the top and the front grooves with a pearl-gray lacquer for the other parts.

is a cabinetmaker's furniture brand established since 1920 in Mayenne, France.
It now belongs to the company MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANÇAIS.
The manufacture of each piece of furniture remains artisanal, 100% French and of very high quality.
The solid wood comes from sustainably managed and PEFC-certified French forests.
As proof of their authenticity and uniqueness, our furniture is burnt with a "G" hallmark.

MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS is a new brand launched in September 2018 by Eric Weiler (founder) and Eric Gizard (designer). We deliver 100% made in France high-end and top quality furniture pieces. Main material is wood, mainly ash, oak and cherry. Our wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests. The craft-handed manufacture in the Loire Countryside and Bretagne ensures robustness and a very long life cycle for each piece. All our models are already fully assembled in our workshops. Eric Gizard is a famous French Designer in Paris and works several Fashion and Luxury Brands. He sublimates with his very fluid and elegant design each piece of our collections EGEE and KUBE. More over and previous to the launch of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS, in 2010, Eric Weiler took over an old cabinet-maker named GONTIER established in France since 1920. French Traditional pieces and new designed models from GONTIER are also proposed on 1st Dibs.
