About the Item
A very attractive mid 18th century Walnut commode. Two large deep drawers that are gliding smoothly in the case. Nicely carved raised panel sides and drawer fronts. Excellent color and patina to the old refinished French polished surface. Drawer locks are missing and the hardware, although appropriate is a later replacement. Pegged and rose head nail construction throughout the case. Very good condition.
