19th C. Finely Inlaid Flame Mahogany Linen Press for Restoration
Located in Bridgeport, CT
The chest with fine varied shell and string inlays. The upper case with a carved cornice over a frieze with interlaced inlays, a shell medallion and rosettes on the ends. The double doors with satinwood quarter fans and shell medallion inlays, opening to two shelves. Lacking a key. The lower case with two short over two long drawers all with fine string inlays and brass ring pulls. Raised on a base with bracket feet.
