1950's Czech Extending Rectangular Dining Table.
1950's Czech Extending Rectangular Dining Table. Beautiful simple and classic mid century table sourced in the Czech Republic. The table is beautifully made with a high gloss zebra wood figured top and birch base. The table sits in its un extended size at 105 x 80cm, to extend the top to 105 x 160 cm, the top swivels ninety degrees and then the top opens up to double the size. Czech was a large producer of high quality mid century furniture following the surge of modernism originated by the Bauhaus school. A good practical piece of elegant mid century furniture. We sell high quality vintage and our workshop has gently restored this piece to bring out it's original colour. Knee height clearance 55cm.
