About the Item

Beautifully hand-turned and handcrafted in solid American black walnut, this side table is a sculptural study in form, texture, and material. Designed and made by our craftsman in England, the piece explores the expressive traditional turning techniques with bold contemporary design. Customizations are available. The circular top features a refined ripple turned underside, introducing movement and shadow play that subtly changes with light and viewpoint. This detailing is echoed in the base which reflects the series of concentric turned circles, creating a harmonious architectural symmetry. The varied natural grain enhances the contrast, the walnut retains its organic character, revealing subtle traces of texture within the wood. The piece is completed with a highly durable Osmo oil finish, providing a resilient surface while preserving a soft, tactile quality. A balance of sculpture and utility, the design works equally well as a side table, accent piece, or standalone object within both contemporary and traditional interiors.
