By Irving & Casson, A.H. Davenport
Located in Hamburg, PA
A magnificent 1920s solid oak farm table by Irving and Casson from the Berks County Jesuit Center. This monumental table could be used as a work table in a kitchen or large office, as well as a display table in a store. Dark oak, hand-rubbed finish adds to its character and patina. A wonderful piece of history. The refectory table is in very good condition with age-appropriate wear, overall good. Some scratches and variations in color are all part of the history and use of the table. Occasional dark spot on top of the surface as shown in images. There is another table in another listing that has a slightly better original finish with fewer dark spots. More information about Irving and Casson is below about the interior design and installations from the White House to suburban homes. Labeled "Irving & Casson-A. H. Davenport Co." underside.
