This Havana console table features an ebonized solid sapele mahogany base with a sculpted and bowed stretcher supporting a floating top made of solid sapele mahogany veneered with figured sapele mahogany swirl in an Asian cracked ice pattern. The sapele mahogany swirl veneer is individually selected cut and pieced together in a random and unique pattern which is influenced by the traditional Asian cracked ice motif. The top is cerused with lime wax. The rich organic patterning on the top is a pleasing counter balance to the strict structure of the base.
