Peter H. Fürst born 1939 in Austria - died 2018 in Germany From 1954 to 1957, Fürst completed an apprenticeship in his parents' company and studied at the higher graphic teaching and research institute in Vienna. In 1960 the master craftsman examination followed and the step into self-employment. From 1963 to 1968, Fürst photographed for companies such as Lancôme, Revlon and Sans Soucis. In addition, he worked in the field of fashion photography. 1968 began the partnership with the psychologist Ralf Baumgarten (1940-2005). Many of the Fürst photos were now created on the basis of shape-psychological considerations. In 1970, Fürst worked for companies such as Gossard, Triumph International and Palmers, where he was one of the first photographers to take pictures of the lingerie outdoors. The following year, among other things, the psychological series The Seven Faces of a Woman and the first European poster with a completely naked man were created. In 1971 he was appointed to the Association of Freelance Photo Designers (BFF), of which he was a member until 2001. In 1973 he became a member of the German Society for Photography e. V. (DGPh).
