Eugène PRINTZ (1879–1948), trained in his father's workshop in Paris, shifted to modern furniture design in the 1920s and became a prominent master of Art Deco cabinetry. He collaborated with Pierre Chareau at the 1925 Exposition of Decorative Arts and showcased his work at exhibitions like the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and the 1931 Colonial Exhibition.
