About the Item

Cristavino is a bottle holder with four contemporary designed goblets, designed to turn wine tasting into a stylish ritual. Made of Cristallina® marble, the only marble quarried in Switzerland, it comes from one of its majestic alpine mountains. This rare and precious material was formed in the Triassic from the calcification of corals-each block holds millions of years of geologic history, making each piece unrepeatable. In person, it is striking for its crystalline brightness and natural veining, which dialogues with the nuances of the wine. With its elegant shape, capable of accommodating a bottle and four glasses, Cristavino becomes an invitation to conviviality and the pleasure of gesture. The base of the bottle holder is removable and can be stored in the freezer, so a bottle of still white wine can be kept fresh, combining aesthetics and functionality. The design bears the signature of ECAL and was created by French designer Alix Malamaire, inspired by Ticino viticulture and the architectural vaults of wineries. The result is a fusion of art and design, capable of narrating tradition and contemporaneity in a single object. Part of the Cristallina Design collections, Cristavino is a luxurious, refined yet functional collectible designed for private wine cellars, gourmet restaurants and elegant home environments.
