Crafted from 18 karat yellow gold this ring is from one of Cartier's most iconic collections, 'Love'. Originally designed by Aldo Cipullo in 1969 first as the 'Love' bracelet, the range has since grown to encompass earrings, rings, bracelets and neckwear. This relatively modern iteration of the 'Love' ring was probably crafted during the 21st Century and is an unusually large ring size, suitable for men, or ladies with a larger finger size. The original 'Love' bangle was designed in two parts with screws that locked the piece onto the wearer's arm, similar to how a chastity belt functioned, with the idea that the spouse would retain the screwdriver that could remove the piece, in essence locking their loved one to them. These Love bands have become a cult classic and are often worn by men and women globally as wedding bands. We love a good piece of Art Deco silver, and this coffee pot from the 1920s is an exceptional example. The pot is marked to the underside with the Czechoslovakian 800 purity silver mark for large articles which was used between 1921 and 1929, giving us an eight year period in which it was manufactured. The elegant octagonal body of the pot is slightly tapered and features a die rolled vegetable motif border toward the top. Unfortunately we have been unable to identify the maker's mark 'JH' which is stamped alongside the Czechoslovakian silver...

We are very excited to present this wonderful handcrafted bracelet by Mario Buccellati. The two tone bracelet consists of woven gold ovals of alternating 18 karat yellow and 18 karat white gold that has been woven or braided. The interlocked links have then been very finely brushed to give a softer matte finish which could be described as a Florentine finish. The bracelet features a tongue and box clasp and two figure of eight safety catches which are all incorporated into an integrated link clasp. The clasp and safety catches are working well and are secure, ensuring the piece stays on tightly with three points of attachment. Whilst this bracelet is on the smaller side in terms of its circumference it certainly makes up for that in its quality craftsmanship by arguably Italy's most highly regarded goldsmith, Mario Buccellati. Whilst it is hard to give a precise date for its manufacture it is likely to date to the late 20th Century. An exceptional piece of Italian gold jewellery...

This exquisite desk object was crafted in France during the early 20th Century and would have been an impressive object to own. The desk seal is crafted from a cigar shaped piece of black onyx which features a diamond set collar to one end and a monogram intaglio 'seal' to the other, all circa 1915. The monogram is 'AMF' which has been beautifully engraved into the underside of the seal. The piece retains its original Morocco leather fitted box signed 'Appay', a French manufacturer, and embossed 'AMF' to the top of the lid.
