DOLCE & GABBANA Fall 1991 Runway Multicoloured Crystal-Embellished Mini Skirt
By Dolce & Gabbana
Located in Munich, DE
"You can not beat Dolce & Gabbana early '90s, especially these [crystal-embellished] looks", said Kim Kardashian when presenting the Kim x Dolce & Gabbana collection for Spring/Summer 2023 inspired by her favourite archival looks which included some reinterpretations of the iconic crystal-adorned pieces from Fall 1991. Oh! Jackie is delighted to offer this important and rare Dolce & Gabbana crystal-embellished mini skirt from the original Fall 1991 collection. It is a spectacular example of the brand's penchant for ornate decoration and unparalleled craftsmanship. The sister mini skirt with clear crystals and various designs with multicoloured stones walked the runway of that season worn by the 1990s super model crowd amongst them Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Yasmin Le Bon and Linda Evangelista. Please have a look at the reference photos. Like several other exceptional vintage pieces that are already available in the shop, the skirt comes direct from a German socialite and fashion collector so has not been on the market prior to this. The regular-rise mini skirt is made in Italy from a black slightly stretchy fabric and covered in large different shaped light-catching multicoloured crystals. The design features a fitted cut accentuating your hips and a side zip and hook-and-eye fastening. Weighted, due to heavy embellishments and unlined. Labeled "DOLCE & GABBANA". Tagged an Italian size 42 but runs much smaller. Comes with a Dolce & Gabbana dust bag. Own a collectible piece of fashion history that transcends eras, embodying the spirit of Dolce & Gabbana's iconic Fall 1991 collection – a skirt that not only adorns your wardrobe but narrates a story of iconic runway moments. Excellent vintage condition with all crystals present. Waist: 62 cm – 24.41" (unstretched) Hips: 86 cm – 33.86" (unstretched) Length: 33 cm – 13" Weight: 2 kg – 4.4 lbs Measurements for waist and hips are taken flat across from side seam to side seam and then DOUBLED. Modern Sizing Equivalent: XXS-XS Reference photos: Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista and other 1990s super models walking the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 1991 Runway / Niki Taylor...

ODICINI COUTURE Little Black Dress with Floral Detailed Raffia Hem, c. 1990s
By Andrea Odicini, Odicini Couture
Located in Munich, DE
Oh! Jackie proudly presents a sophisticated c. 1990s ODICINI COUTURE little black dress. Such a beautiful design with unique and lovely details! As not everyone might be familiar with the designer behind this very successful Italian couture label, following some words about Andrea Odicini: "The Genoese couturier is of incredible refinement and one of the most important ambassadors of haute couture. Witty, elegant, reserved, and at times elusive, Andrea Odicini is one of the leading figures in Italian high fashion. Uninterested in the spotlight often demanded by his profession, Odicini has earned recognition among an exclusive international clientele. It was in Paris that Andrea Odicini began his career, which later flourished in New York, London, and Monte Carlo. Some still recall how, in 1978, his dresses displayed in the windows of Bergdorf Goodman sold out within hours. Present on the haute couture calendar for many years, he eventually chose to withdraw from the public stage and remain in his hometown of Genoa, where his atelier is still located in a historic building in the city center. Those who seek one of his creations must visit him personally, as do the elegant ladies from Milan to Monte Carlo, Paris to Portofino, who trust his talent. Among them are notable figures, including the Princess of Kent and the Duchess of Marlborough." – From the book "Andrea Odicini" by Rizzoli At first sight this is a classic and elegant Odicini Couture dress tailored to couture standards from a high-quality structured black fabric with a subtle sheen. Cut simply, it ends just below the knee and features a round neck and cap sleeves with small shoulder pads. But, what makes it exceptional and outstanding is the wide row of black raffia fringes that highlights the hem and gives the dress just the perfect amount of weight, depth and movement. So when you move, it creates that typical rustling raffia sound. I love, that hidden between the plain raffia ribbons some with small black fabric flowers decorated ones are placed here and there. They catch your eye and add that certain-something effect. The dress is lined throughout with a fine black silk and closes with a back hidden set zipper. Tagged an Italian vintage size 46. Excellent vintage condition. Appears unworn. Shoulders: 40 cm – 15.75" (seam to seam) Bust: 100 cm – 39.37" Waist: 90 cm – 35.43" Hips: 100 cm – 39.37" Length: 100 cm – 39.37" (including raffia) / 79 cm – 31.10" (without raffia) Measurements are taken flat across from side seam to side seam and then DOUBLED for bust, waist and hips. Approximate Modern Size: M/L Reference photos: Model presenting an Odicini Couture little black dress on the runway / Super model Gail Elliott in a A/W 1988/89 Odicini Couture evening dress on the cover of Elegance Paris...

ISSEY MIYAKE S/S 1991 Documented Runway 'Dinosaur' Sleeves Black Silk Jacket
By Issey Miyake
Located in Munich, DE
Important and rare documented Spring/Summer 1991 black 'Dinosaur' silk jacket by Issey Miyake as presented on the runway. The twin of this jacket walked the runway in several colours and fabrics. Versions of it are part of various fashion museums worldwide such as The Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and the Powerhouse Collection of the MAAS Museum in Sydney. The linen model was photographed by renowned fashion photographer Irving Penn and is shown in the book "Irving Penn regards the work of Issey Miyake" published by Bulfinch. Please see the reference pictures and send us a note for a video sequence of the fashion show. Designed under the eye of Issey Miyake himself this stunning black silk jacket features a simple yet complex cut based on origami Japanese folding techniques. Both front and back are expertly pleated. Yet the star of this design are the long sleeves that are folded and pressed in such a way to create a zig zag line along the top of the sleeve which is reminiscent of a dinosaur's jagged back. The use of silk gazar is the perfect choice for this garment as the fabric combines qualities of delicacy with a gentle stiffness which is required to maintain the folded fabric form. The jacket is unlined and buttons up the center front. Labelled "Issey Miyake" and tagged a Japanese vintage size M. The jacket was purchased in 1991 by my couture client in Munich, Germany, and has not been on the market prior to this. Excellent vintage condition. Bust: 104 cm – 40.94" Waist: 82 cm – 32.28" Length: 53 cm – 20.87" Measurements for bust and waist are taken flat across from side seam to side seam and then DOUBLED. A/W 1982 Azzedine ALAÏA First Ready-To-Wear Collection Black Leather Jacket
By Azzedine Alaïa
Located in Munich, DE
"When I design a garment, I am not looking to affirm a particular style. I think of the women who will wear it. I believe that I can say about my clothes that they are impossible to date, they are made to last." – Azzedine Alaïa Throughout his career, the designer sought to perfect his vision of timeless beauty. And “his unique sense of the body and body dressing started an ongoing revolution,” noted Vogue in 1986. This instantly recognizable and museum-held (Palais Galliera, Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris) leather jacket is from Autumn/Winter 1982, Azzedine Alaïa's very first ready-to-wear collection and thus a truly special, very rare and collectible piece of fashion history. The collection was officially presented at Bergdorf Goodman in New York in September 1982 and an instant success. The jacket is made in France from extraordinarily soft and supple black leather and features the signature fitted waist, a low shawl collar and dramatic oversized side hip pockets that continue on the back. The design has wide sleeves that narrow towards the cuffs with a short zip at the wrist. One chest pocket with a silver coloured zip. The back shows a striking seam detailing. Press stud closure at the front. Fully lined in black acetate. Tagged a French vintage size 40. Runs slightly smaller. The jacket comes from a couture client and has not been on the market prior to this. Very good vintage condition. The bottom half of the lining of the left sleeve was replaced by a trained couture seamstress. Not visible from outside. Shoulders: 49 cm – 19.29" (dropped seam to seam) Bust: 90 cm – 35.43" (under the arms from side seam to side seam) Waist: 75 cm – 29.53" Hips: 102 cm – 40.16" Sleeve length: 61 cm – 24.02" (measured from real shoulder) Length: 73 cm – 28.74" Measurements are taken flat and then doubled for bust, waist and hips. S/S 2004 PRADA Runway Beige Brown Python Leather Belted Trench Coat
By Miuccia Prada, Prada
Located in Munich, DE
This exceptional coat was Look 3 in the Spring 2004 line-up from fashion icon Miuccia Prada. Vogue Runway said of this collection: "Over almost a decade of ground-breaking experimentalism, Miuccia Prada has explored everything from irony to deliberate ugliness to intellectual subversion. She’s been there, done that, and has the souvenirs to prove it. For Spring 2004, the designer turned her attention to the stiffest fashion challenge of the day: how to make feminine, happily nostalgic clothes without rehashing the clichés of vintage? “It was about tourism and craftsmanship, many things,” she said of a show that revisited the optimistic fifties to bring back a full set of densely packed suitcases. Out tumbled every possible variation on the classic touring wardrobe: circle skirts printed with illustrated Mediterranean scenes, shirtwaists and Capri pants, sundresses and bathing suits, button-through skirts and lovely evening frocks, silk madras bras and little tulle full-skirted dance dresses. What set the collection apart were the subtle twists, like the way Prada will gently mess up fabric with dip-dye and tie-dye, turn seams inside out, or leave edges raw. Something in the proportion of her neat little tops, belted slightly above the waist, to the fullness and length of her skirts, to the height of her T-strap shoes or pumps, inexplicably excuses the silhouette from the frumpiness of the literal fifties line. Meanwhile, students of Pradaology will note that her sight-seeing tour also revisits some favorite landmarks of her own career: the silk pleated goddess dresses, fur tippets...

JEAN PAUL GAULTIER A/W 1985-1986 Green Quilted & Padded Satin Coat
By Jean Paul Gaultier
Located in Munich, DE
This is one of Jean Paul Gaultier's rare and runway presented quilted satin coats from his A/W 1985-1986 collection. I am happy to have found documentation of different-coloured twins of this design walking the runway of that year. Please see the reference photos. The very elegant long coat features a flared cut and wide lapels. It is meant to be worn oversized. Fully padded with a beautiful organic shaped quilting. Love that the reverse of the lapels and the inside of the sleeves' cuffs is quilted into squares. The long loose sleeves can be worn either turned-down or turned-up showing that differing quilting. Two patch pockets. The design has no closure and is fully lined in a black silky satin with tonal tiny dots. Labelled "Jean Paul Gaultier pour Gibo' Made in Italy" and tagged a French vintage size 42. Due to its cut and open front it will fit a variety of sizes. Extremely well-made, this coat is a collectible and wearable piece of fashion history! The coat belonged to one of my couture clients from Munich, Germany, and has not been on the market prior to this. Excellent vintage condition. Bust: 136 cm – 53.54" Lapels width: 24,5 cm – 9.65" Sleeve length: 53 cm – 20.87" Length: 143 cm – 56.3" All measurements are taken flat. 1989 MOSCHINO COUTURE Red Blue Venice Gondolier Jacket Cruise Me Baby Collection
By Moschino, Moschino Couture
Located in Munich, DE
Early Moschino pieces designed by Franco Moschino himself – often referred to as Italian fashion's "enfant terrible" – within the short period when he launched the House of Moschino in 1983 until he passed away in 1994 are sought after and highly collectible. This treasure, like several others that are already available in my shop and more to be listed gradually, comes direct from a German socialite and fashion collector so has not been on the market prior to this. The stunning Spring/Summer 1989 Moschino Couture jacket is part of Franco Moschino's coveted "Cruise me Baby" collection and a wearable collectors item that will only increase in value. Franco Moschino once said in a 1994 interview with British GQ: “Funny clothes have to be extremely well made because that is where you find the chic." This design is a perfect example of his outstanding skills. The spectacular jacket, inside and out, is a love letter to the city of Venice. When designing this jacket Franco Moschino obviously had the typical Venetian gondolier's dress code in mind – a red/white or blue/white striped T-shirt. It captures the fun vibe that Moschino has always represented as a brand. The cropped design features a slightly fitted bodice which is horizontally red/white-striped at front and appliquéd with two black stylized gondola prows, a symbol of Venice, that are not just ornamental but have a hidden meaning. To name just one, the metal lines correspond to the number of the Sestieri (districts) of Venice. Accentuated with gold braiding, the jacket closes with a row of spherical gold metal buttons at center front. The back is monochrome red. The elbow-length sleeves are diagonally Venice-blue/white-striped and showcase wide red gold braided cuffs that are embellished with the winged lion – THE symbol of the Serenissima – holding a book below its paw with the sentence "I ♡ VENICE" written in it. I love that the lining is as beautiful as the outside of the jacket! It features colourful scenes of St. Mark's Square – the Doge's Palace, the Campanile, the two large granite columns, one surmounted by the iconic bronze winged lion sculpture and the other one by St. Theodore of Amasea. How luxurious is that? The matching Moschino Venice...

Early Moschino pieces designed by Franco Moschino himself – often referred to as Italian fashion's "enfant terrible" – within the short period when he launched the House of Moschino in 1983 until he passed away in 1994 are very sought after. This treasure, like several others – some already available on my storefront, some will be listed gradually –, comes direct from a German socialite and fashion collector so has not been on the market prior to this. MOSCHINO COUTURE S/S 1992 Cruise me Baby "I Love Venice" Lion Appliquéd Jacket
By Moschino Couture
Located in Munich, DE
Early Moschino pieces designed by Franco Moschino himself – often referred to as Italian fashion's "enfant terrible" – within the short period when he launched the House of Moschino in 1983 until he passed away in 1994 are sought after and highly collectible. This treasure, like several others that are already available in my shop and more to be listed gradually, comes direct from a German socialite and fashion collector so has not been on the market prior to this. The stunning Moschino Couture jacket from S/S 1992 is part of Franco Moschino's coveted "Cruise me Baby" collection and a wearable collectors item that will only increase in value. Franco Moschino once said in a 1994 interview with British GQ: “Funny clothes have to be extremely well made because that is where you find the chic." This design is a perfect example of his outstanding skills. I am delighted to have found documentation of the jacket with a photo of a "Tribute to Venice" window display from February 1992 in the book about Moschino "X Anni di Kaos! 1983 1993". See the last picture. The spectacular jacket, inside and out, is a love letter to the city of Venice. It features colourful scenes of St. Mark's Square – the Doge's Palace, the Campanile, the two large granite columns, one surmounted by the iconic bronze winged lion sculpture and the other one by St. Theodore of Amasea – printed on the sleeves and the entire lining. How luxurious is that? The winged lion – the symbol of Venice – is worked through the whole piece. Appliquéd on both cuffs and prominently across the back of the jacket holding a book below its paw with the sentence "I ♡ VENICE" written in it. Below it a paper cut-esque silhouette of the city. On the front of the jacket you find two stylized gondola prows, another symbol of the Serenissima, that are not just ornamental but have a hidden meaning. To name just one, the metal lines correspond to the number of the Sestieri (districts) of Venice. The cropped open front design has a boxy silhouette, long sleeves and is accentuated with gold braiding. Sleeves and lining are done in a high-quality colourful printed silk twill, bodice in a cream acetate and rayon blend. I love the play of textures! Labeled "Moschino Couture! Cruise me Baby Made in Italy" and tagged a vintage IT 44, D 40, GB 12, USA 10. Excellent vintage condition. One yellowish spot at the back of the left sleeve cuff (see the picture before the label). Shoulders: 42 cm – 16.54" (seam to seam) Bust: 96 cm – 37.8" (under the arms from side seam to side seam) Sleeve length: 60 cm – 23.62" (measured from shoulder seam) Length: 43 cm – 16.93" (from neck to hem) Bust measurement is taken flat across from side seam to side seam and then DOUBLED. Modern Sizing Equivalent: S-M Reference Photo: Moschino Venice...
