A pair of weighty art glass desk sculptures produced by the celebrated Taiwanese studio Liuli Gong Fang, showcasing traditional lost-wax glass casting (pâte de verre). Each piece uses translucent glass in vivid chartreuse and lime-green tones blended with amber and sapphire-blue accents, creating luminous internal reflections when exposed to direct light. The larger square block weighs 1.18 kg and stands 9.53 cm (3 3/4 inches) high. The front face is decorated with relief-moulded Chinese dragons swirling around a central square aperture, reminiscent of a traditional bi disc or ceremonial coin, all set against a textured grid of circular bosses. The polished flat sides and smooth reverse allow light to pass cleanly through the deep blue and gold hues held inside the core. It bears the studio's impressed seal mark and is dated 2005.
