Although our oceans cover more than 70% of the earth’s surface, humans have only charted 5% of it. This leaves an undiscovered world of possibilities to be explored and interpreted. Society often talks of life on other planets, yet we haven’t fully explored the largest sector of our own.
These uncertainties have inspired a work that reimagines the many unknowns of this mysterious world to bring recognition to its beauty and therapeutic qualities. An interconnected ecosystem of strange underwater creatures and landscapes live in harmony while swimming by to glimpse a foreign universe, often forgotten and underestimated.
Stillman is a 3D Artist based out of NYC. Heavily influenced by the natural world, his work tells a larger story of personal reflection and past remembrances through surreal natural phenomena.
