Ego as it’s popularly understood, is the psychological phenomenon that is tied to a person’s idea of esteem and importance of themselves, the feeling that attributes itself to personal identity through perceptions. It has been made to believe that it’s entirely a bad thing which has caused an imbalance between the boundaries of having a sense of self and sustaining the ability to cultivate the humble persona of Empathy, compassion and understanding whereas knowing when to pocket that which is ruled by the compass of individuality rather than, inclusivity. This body of work was motivated by the desire to bring to light the unclear dissimilitude between having hale awareness and confidence, and harboring an engorged ego. Which is where people would exhibit traits of being unteachable, the dissatisfaction of being wrong, the toxic desire to always win or achieve anything even if it is required to be at the disposal of others, etc therefore, they become a walking corpse governed by narcissism while suffering from the lack of healthy interpersonal associations. My primary aim for this masterpiece is to have it serve as a token to promote awareness that inspires regulation and the mental/emotional ascension that comes with it.
