We don't have only one face. Our personality is not fixed and unique, but an infinite number of different pieces in perpetual movement. Identity is not a stable notion, because that would mean that we are exactly the same person all our life, but that's impossible. Our existences subsist only through change.
My real name is Mehdi, I'm a 25 years old photographer and self-portraitist. I started photography 4 years ago, Inspired by classical painting.
After many visits to museums, I decided to create my project "Chiaroscuro". Learning how to use lights was the most fun and satisfying thing in my life. During those years I learned how to pose, depending on the mood and what I had to say. I was a child learning to communicate again.
After a few years on this project, I wanted to do something different, something bright and above all get out of my little room and explore the world. At the beginning of 2021, I left for Iceland. I traveled 3 months with my small savings. I was able to explore glaciers, iceberg lagoons, walk on lava fields, dive in icy water but most of all: start my second project, the "Glacial project". But don't worry, this series is far from being finished, Iceland was only the beginning.
I'm now back in France, my head is full of ideas and I'm still experimenting the possibilities offered by my camera and my body.

A big part of my portfolio was published in Vogue and my photo "Týndur" was in the "Best of Vogue" 2021.
