Here was a commission of monumental proportions. The project goal was to make this sprawling, classic, 12,000 sq.ft Georgian Tudor home in Beverly Hills (home to a much-followed celebrity), and give it Jennifer Post style to the max - inside and out. Today, the stucco exterior and period style remain intact, for the most part, in the front. However, the courtyard, grounds and the interior comprise a one-man resort. The client wanted this to feel like all the places he had been in the Caribbean, says Jennifer. The stucco fortress-like windows were obliterated and numerous glass sliders installed to open to a huge new stone loggia with wide luxurious platforms of cascading steps lead to a sliver of emerald lawn ending at the new 67 floor long pool. Completing the owner’s private oasis is a separate guest house and cabana furnished with full kitchen, bar and bbq.
