Courchevel
Vacation Home by Todhunter Earle Interiors in Paris 16 Passy, FR
Built on the last plot of land available in Courchevel 1850, this extensive ski-in/ski out chalet is a collaboration between Todhunter Earle and Alireza Sagarchi of Stanhope Gate Architecture, working with locally based Jean-Phillips Velghe-Michaux who managed the build. The London based owners are passionate skiers and spend several weeks of the season in the mountains with their two teenage boys. Using oak planked walls together with traditional plaster and locally sourced stones, the interior is warm and inviting, contemporary yet relaxed. The spa/gym complex on the lower level includes the largest private pool in Courchevel, which is flooded with natural mountain light.
