Gasholders

Apartment by Woolf Interior Architecture & Design in London, GB

Built between 1860 and 1880, the Grade II-listed cast iron Gasholders guide frames were revived by Architects Wilkinson Eyre. The interlocking trio are now a spectacular uniquely original telescopic residential development located in the heart of the new avant-garde Kings Cross.

WOOLF took an 'imaginative and flexible' approach in incorporating the client’s original furniture, art work and years of history into a new ultra-contemporary setting. The WOOLF team blended original and new furniture, fabrics, wall treatments and soft furnishings to pull the space together. We have approached the artwork and accessories like a curator, working with a fantastic art collection.
