A compact 1940s cottage received a gut-renovation, featuring custom hexagonal oyster-colored cement floor tiles throughout, American Black Walnut paneling and cabinetry , and all steel windows and doors painted a drab olive green. Custom tile patterns inspired by de Stijl paintings clad the walls in each bathroom. Architectural interventions include a curved shower wall and enlarged master suite.
