The Miami townhome pushed us to create a truly well-calibrated use of (limited) space, a flowing program for dinner parties, nights at the piano, and solitary contemplation of the art collection. The clients are avid collectors, who taught us to live among the art and not take things too seriously, even amongst an impressive collection. Together, we were able to create a unified space that celebrates both art, furniture, and the pragmatic daily needs of the clients. We were thrilled at the opportunity to push boundaries and pull in unorthodox shapes and finishes, but the final design feels balanced as a holistic composition. The home is at once: livable, comfortable, collected, and flexible– ready to move when the clients are ready for their next chapter!
