HOUSE BOAT

House-boat. Our design studio was very lucky to make planning and inner decorations of a self-propelled barge, which was built in Ukraine using an original project. Classic Dutch river barges were used as its prototype. One of the main tasks which arose during the designing process was to make quite a limited space the most comfortable taking into account specificity of navel everyday life.

The barge is equipped with all necessary things for a comfort residence during any season of the year. The purpose of the project was to create conditions for pleasant stay of a company of 7-10 people, who decided to have a good rest away from the city mess or enjoy their holidays.

The following life support technologies were used (not including navigation equipment):

- electrical diesel generator;

- full set of kitchen equipment (fridge, freezer, cooker panel, dishwasher, cooker hoods, coffee machine);

-washing room;

-system of filtration and preparation of cold and hot water;

- TV with satellite;

- multi-room;

- fireplace.

The decorations were made using ecologically clean materials.
