This classic 1940s bungalow was resuscitated, modernized, and infused with a clean-cut, happy-go-lucky vibe. The knotty-pine walls on the main floor were painted a high-gloss white and ebonized floors create a crisp, endless-summer feel. A pebble-covered patio off the lower level is sheltered by jaunty all-weather curtains; the lakefront deck off the living room has a freestanding mid-century cone fireplace.
