This home is an emphatic indoor/outdoor experience. A muscular combination of stucco, stained-black cedar, and brick masonry covered in vines, the house has sliding window walls on both sides of the combined kitchen, living, and dining area, so you can look straight through the front of the house to the lakeside deck, where you feel like you're floating on a barge. When the glass walls are pulled open, the interior is virtually transformed into an outdoor pavilion. The elliptical chimney serves two fireplaces - one in the living room and another on the rooftop deck, romantically landscaped with fig trees and pots of lush tropical plants.
