MIAMI RENAISSANCE Our gorgeous clients who met in their teens and have been in love for over for 40 years wanted to create a winter home for themselves on Fisher Island, Miami’s exclusive private island. Having already done two of their residences we were given complete creative freedom and so inspired by their Cuban roots and Miami’s sexy energy; an imagined love story set amidst the sun-drenched tropical energy of 1970’s Miami was our directive when we designed this sexy, refined and opulent project. Creating an interior which felt cool to the touch, rich and opulent and withstand the tropical climate; we wrapped the walls and ceilings with venetian plaster and layered the floors with polished limestone. Leather wrapped doors, sumptuous furniture and patinated brass, were layered together creating a sexy and refined interior.
