1100 combined two Midtown Manhattan apartments into a cohesive, light-filled home centered on the clients’ expansive collection of books and art objects. A custom bookshelf links the living areas, while flexible partitions allow the space to adapt to the family’s interests—dining and cooking, entertaining, private study, music rehearsal, and the daily rhythms of everyday life.
