Mælström tapestry
Mixed Use by Buro Bruno in NL
Maelström is a rug derived from the planes of the Square Vase seen from the top view. The premise of both products has actually been the same. The surfaces of the vase are placed one above the other and connected, whereas the surfaces of the carpet are stacked and colored. The planes are colored by the effect of light to dark with one color red. The drawn shadows give the rug a three-dimensional character. A trompe-l'oeil of a maelstrom of squares, as if you could fall into the depths of it.
Material: polyamide, geprint / size: 200x200 cm.
