Orange County Dining

This partial renovation in Orange County had a focus on the kitchen and architectural elements in an effort to elevate the cookie cutter developer spec home. . We went to work re-designing the front door, fireplace, stair railings and gutted the entire kitchen and connecting family room space. Pushing the envelope in the naturally dark dining room we chose to cover the walls in a wallpaper mural and painted the entire room in an earthy green creating a moody environment perfect for evening dinign and entertaining. The kitchen however stole the show. Wanting to keep the feeling of lightness and modernity we opted out of upper cabinets, allowing us to push the height of marble backsplash and show off more of the gorgeous old world roman veining in the arabescato marble. Anchoring the space are dark plum cabinets and natural walnut island. This kitchen was voted best of kitchens 2018 and featured on the cover of Interiors Magazine California
