"Pied à Terre" In Lisbon
Located in the heart of Lisbon, this apartment has been meticulously reimagined by OITOEMPONTO – Architecture & Interiors, where original architectural character meets a contemporary mid-century sensibility.
Designed for a French couple seeking a sophisticated pied-à-terre, the project balances elegance and ease, drawing inspiration from Italian and Brazilian design of the 1950s. A carefully curated selection of iconic pieces by Gio Ponti, Carlo di Carli, Pietro Chiesa, and Giuseppe Scapinelli coexists with bespoke furniture, rich materials, and contemporary art, creating a layered and subtly luxurious atmosphere.
From the high-gloss lacquered wood entrance to the fluid living spaces unified by moss green tones and sculptural details, each area reveals a thoughtful dialogue between heritage and modernity. Marble, bronze, and fine woods including zebrano are used throughout, enhancing both the social and private areas of the home.
The result is an interior that feels both timeless and personal, an elegant composition of texture, light, and form designed for comfort and distinction.
