Soho Loft
Jenna Lyons enlisted Meyer Davis to transform the open space loft she purchased in the heart of SoHo into a proper apartment that would weave together varied sensibilities: uptown and downtown; bohemian and traditional; European and American. The design team gave the loft new bones that evoke Paris's 16th Arrondissement - plaster walls with picture-frame moldings painted a chic pale gray, paneled solid-wood doors with brass hardware, and chevron-patterned floors made from a nuanced combination of real and reclaimed wood. Lyon's passion for fashion is manifest in her spectacular dressing room. The elegant composition of her master bathroom required painstaking execution to book-match the purple-veined Calacatta Paonazzo marble slabs. Viewed from the raw oak-paneled bedroom through steel-and-restoration-glass doors, the bathroom appears as a sybaritic dreamscape rendered in watercolors.
