Upper East Side Apartment

The palette for this artful Upper East Side home was composed of layers of textured neutrals and tones of blue, as well as elegant metal accents. The existing architecture provided a backdrop on which to add warmth through the addition of moody plaster finishes, woven wallcoverings, and light oak millwork. Extra care was given to custom rug designs with varying levels of pattern, and on selecting accent pieces that offered contemporary pops of color. The project was an exercise in putting finishing touches on a home with "good bones," to create interiors that feel integral.
